Whitehawk Pathways to Healing Counselling

Wellness Begins Here

Meet Ronna

Welcome!!

My name is Ronna Dempsey and I am an Indigenous Clinical Therapist. My approach to therapy is holistic, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I believe healing begins with trust, connection, and understanding.

As an Indigenous woman, my own healing journey—shaped by the legacy of colonization and intergenerational trauma—led me to this work. I combine Western therapeutic methods with Indigenous ways of knowing (Two-Eyed Seeing approach) to support clients in achieving balance across the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual parts of life.

I provide counselling for individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions. Whether you are struggling with guilt, disconnection, or feeling “not enough,” I
offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can begin to heal and rediscover yourself.

In our sessions, we honour the stories of your life and how the experiences of your past, as well as the teachings and patterns you’ve learned, influence your present journey. Healing doesn’t
happen in isolation—let’s walk this journey together toward balance, growth, and holistic wellness.

Pathways to Healing

At Whitehawk, I provide compassionate counselling services to guide you on your journey toward emotional and mental well-being. I am committed to supporting you in achieving a healthier, happier life.

Land Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that we live, work, and gather on the traditional territories of Treaties 4, 6, 7, and 8 on Turtle Island—ancestral lands of many Nations, including the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and Tsuut’ina Nations, as well as the Métis Nation (Region 3).

We honour the deep connection of these Nations to the land and our shared responsibility to protect and respect Mother Earth. We pay tribute to the ancestors, the children, the missing and murdered Indigenous women, men, and Two-Spirit people, and all those who rest here.

May our time together be guided by respect, humility, and a shared commitment to reconciliation and healing.
